The nylon is a good idea to keep the bolt from tearing up that nice sign around the hole.
But an even better idea would be to offer the same hardware in stainless steel, because that electro-plat zinc stuff is gonna rust real quick.
Having the two lengths to choose from was nice. I put the long ones in first, then decided too much was sticking out the back, so then swapped them for the shorter bolts.
