Preliminary thoughts about my custom LawnBoss sign.
I ordered a custom LawnBoss sign to inform delivery drivers that they should place packages at our side door, as we use it as the main entrance. I wanted something that was visible, durable (to withstand Vermont winters,) and would last several years. I decided to try the default laminate (not the premium 3M laminate for an extra ~$15) because the description made it sound like that would be "good enough" for my needs.
The 3 ft stake was perfect and I'm glad I didn't get a larger sign, as I didn't want our house to take on an industrial look, even though I run my small business from a studio space in our detached garage.
I'm very happy with the quality so far and the sign is visible enough that UPS/FedEx/Postal Carriers should be able to see it without issue. I ordered the color scheme that matches interstate highway signs, white text on a green background.
The stake was very easy to put together with a rubber mallet, and the included screws with lock nuts were perfect. I had the sign installed in 5 minutes.
Hopefully, the 3 ft stake is all I will need. I will find out once we get some snow on the ground this weekend.
Final note: I only rated 4 stars as I have only had the sign for less than a week. I also don't tend to rate things 5 stars unless they are truly exemplary. If the sign holds up really well, I will be inclined to come back and upd ate my rating. For now, I'm happy with the quality sign and speed with which my custom order was fulfilled.
Beautifully executed. Looks great. Only one issue and that is the sign wasnt packaged very well and consequently was damaged in shipping. I called and they were happy to replace the sign, but it isn't too noticeable, so I'll probably just keep it. The shipping was super quick. I will definitely do business with this company again
