I just put them on our outdoor recycle carts. i modified them by cutting out the word trash and placing a recycle symbol there. Looks good and the size is just right.
These stickers are politely worded and reasonably inconspicuous, yet VERY effective
Before ordering these stickers, I had installed a small, but effective, "No Trespooping" sign in our yard. That got rid of most of the loose dog poop in our yard, as well as the bags of poop just dropped at the corners of our lot. However, some equally thoughtless dog owners began leaving "doggie bags" of poop in our trash bin every trash pickup day -- even after the trash had been picked up. These stickers were the perfect size to affix to our trash bin, and the message was polite, yet unequivocal. My order arrived in just a day or two. I had ordered three stickers: one for the lid, and one for either side of the can, so that dog owners could not plausibly claim not to have seen the message. The seller was kind enough to send an extra sticker, which I greatly appreciate! I put the extra on the front of the bin, just in case dog owners managed to overlook the stickers on the lid and the sides. Two weeks and 4 garbage pickups have passed since we affixed the stickers, and so far, we haven't found any more "doggie bags". The stickers are of very high quality, and appear sturdy enough to stand up to outdoor conditions for a long time. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
Just what I was looking for! Perfect. Seems some people think it's ok not to take their dogs poop home with them.
